About Rick and his family
Rick Gering and his wife Cindy were both raised in Christian homes and a private Christian school in Wichita, Kansas. They were married on March 28th, 1986. They have two children Ashley (20) and Amber (16). They now have one grandchild - Peyton. Rick was called to the ministry in 1991 and in March of '94 went full-time at a local Baptist church in Wichita. They have served churches in Kansas, Georgia, and now Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Rick serves as the Siloam Springs High School Varsity Football Chaplain. He is also pursuing his Biblical Studies Degree thru Moody Bible Institute. All four are acticve in the local church. Rick is Associate Pastor of Harvard Avenue Bapist Church (www.habc.net). Cindy is involved with the youth ministry, women's ministry, and First Impression Ministry. Ashley was very involved with the youth ministry helping lead worship to over 200 teenagers every Wednesday night and is now on the praise team at the church. Amber is active with the youth ministry, has a huge heart for missions, and loves amusement parks. Her favorite being Cedarpoint. (www.cedarpoint.com)
